6 Raw Grain Storage Silos for Feed Mill in Vietnam
In 2024, ManXing Machinery successfully completed a feed mill grain storage project in Vietnam, featuring 6 raw grain silos with a total capacity of 6,000 tons. Each silo was designed with a storage capacity of 1,000 tons, suitable for holding corn, wheat, and soybean meal as the main raw materials for feed production.
The silos were constructed with 275 g/m² hot-dip galvanized corrugated steel sheets, offering excellent durability and corrosion resistance under Vietnam’s tropical climate. To ensure stable and long-term grain quality, the system was equipped with aeration fans, temperature and moisture monitoring sensors, ventilation ducts, and sweep augers.
For efficient raw material handling, the project integrated a bucket elevator, chain scraper conveyor, and dust collection system. The system’s handling capacity reached 100 tons per hour, providing reliable and continuous grain supply to the feed processing line.
The installation was completed within 70 days by ManXing’s professional construction team. After commissioning, the silo system demonstrated stable operation, minimal grain loss, and reduced operational costs. With a storage period of up to 12 months, the silos guarantee raw material freshness and feed quality.
The customer highly praised the project for its efficient design, automation, and cost-effectiveness, which improved production capacity and enhanced competitiveness in the feed industry.
This case highlights ManXing Machinery’s expertise in delivering tailor-made raw grain silo storage solutions for feed mills worldwide.
