15 Soybean Storage Silos Project in Argentina
In 2024, ManXing Machinery successfully completed a large-scale soybean storage silo system project in Argentina, one of the world’s leading soybean producers. The project included 15 flat-bottom steel silos, each with a storage capacity of 1,000 tons, resulting in a total storage capacity of 15,000 tons. These silos were designed to meet the customer’s demand for long-term and safe soybean storage, ensuring stable raw material supply for processing and export.
The silo walls were constructed from high-strength galvanized corrugated steel sheets with 275 g/m² zinc coating, providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance under Argentina’s changing climate conditions. Each silo was equipped with advanced aeration systems, temperature and moisture monitoring sensors, ventilation ducts, and sweep augers to maintain grain quality and reduce storage losses.
To support efficient grain handling, the system also included a high-capacity bucket elevator, scraper conveyors, and a dust removal system. With a handling capacity of 120 tons per hour, the facility allows for fast loading and unloading, improving overall logistics efficiency.
The installation was completed within 90 days by ManXing’s professional engineering team. After commissioning, the silo system demonstrated stable performance, enabling long-term storage of soybeans for up to 12–18 months without quality deterioration.
The customer praised the project for its large storage scale, modern technology integration, and reduced operational costs. This project not only improved the customer’s storage efficiency but also enhanced their competitiveness in soybean trading and export markets.
This case reflects ManXing Machinery’s expertise in delivering customized soybean silo storage solutions for large-scale agricultural operations, further strengthening its presence in Latin America’s grain storage industry.
