In 2023, ManXing Machinery completed a 1000-ton feed mill grain silo project in Thailand. The project consisted of two hopper-bottom steel silos, each with a storage capacity of 500 tons, designed specifically for storing corn and soybean meal as raw materials for feed production. The hopper-bottom design allowed for smooth grain discharge, minimizing residue and making it highly suitable for small and medium feed mills.
The silo body was manufactured from high-quality galvanized steel sheets with a zinc coating of 275g/m², providing excellent durability and long-term corrosion resistance under Thailand’s tropical climate conditions. Each silo was equipped with aeration fans, temperature monitoring systems, and advanced sweep augers to ensure grain quality and prevent spoilage during long-term storage.
To achieve efficient raw material handling, the project also included a bucket elevator, scraper conveyor, and dust collection system. ManXing’s installation team completed the on-site construction and commissioning within 45 days. After operation, the system reached a stable capacity of 60 tons per hour, ensuring a continuous supply of raw materials for feed processing.
The customer praised the project for its compact design, high efficiency, and low maintenance requirements. This 1000-ton silo system significantly reduced raw material waste, lowered operational costs, and improved feed production capacity.
